FairPrice and Coles announce partnership and expand grocery range in Singapore

  • The partnership will enhance FairPrice’s retail range and progressively include over 140 popular products from Coles
  • Over 60 products from Coles are being featured at the Australia Fair, taking place from 7 – 20 April 2022

SINGAPORE, 7 April 2022 – NTUC FairPrice (FairPrice) today announced a new partnership with Coles Group (Coles), a leading Australian retailer. This is the Australian retailer’s first partnership in Singapore and would bring a host of products exclusive to FairPrice.

Mr Tng Ah Yiam, Chief Procurement Officer at FairPrice Group said, “Coles is a familiar brand with many Singaporeans who have travelled, studied and worked in Australia or have families and friends living down under. At FairPrice, we are always looking for ways to diversify our product offerings to bring the world to our consumers at affordable prices. Our partnership with Coles will further expand our range of international products and better cater to the diverse and evolving taste of our customers.”

Exporting to more than 30 countries, with a focus on Asia, Coles Own Brand products are predominantly Australian-made. We are delighted to launch a number of these products for sale at FairPrice in Singapore to showcase their amazing quality and to continue to drive growth in our Own Brand business globally.”

Over 140 unique Coles products to be available at FairPrice

As part of the partnership with Coles, an initial range of over 60 products are now available at various FairPrice stores, whilst by June 2022, customers can look forward to over 140 specially curated products. Exclusively available at FairPrice, customers will have access to products from Coles’ private labels such as Australian wines from Cleanskin, flour, grains and noodles from Wellness Road. The diversified range from Coles will complement FairPrice’s existing stable of grocery products.

Uniquely Australian products at the Australia Fair

The return of the Australia Fair will feature a wide range of grocery products from Australia, including popular items FairPrice housebrand sourced from Australia such as Pasar Australia October Sun Plums, FairPrice Shredded Cheese and FairPrice UHT Milk. The Fair will also spotlight over 60 items from Coles, from confectionery like Coles Shortbread Fingers and Ultimate Cookie, coffee products like Coles Urban Coffee Culture. Riding on the trend and interest in healthier drink options, Nexba, a popular brand of sugar free Kombucha will also be made exclusively available at FairPrice.

To improve the shopping experience for customers, selected stores will also feature a specialised section for the Australia produce. This will allow customers to enjoy the best shopping experience and highlight the labels and their specialties. The Australia Fair will be taking place from 7 – 20 April 2022 across all FairPrice stores island-wide and FairPrice online.
