SINGAPORE, 17 AUGUST 2026 – FairPrice Foundation (FPF), the philanthropic arm of FairPrice Group (FPG), today announced the return of the Cheers Breakfast Club for its third consecutive year. Organised alongside FPG’s convenience banners Cheers and FairPrice Xpress, 12,000 free breakfast bundles will be distributed to Primary 6 students preparing for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). This represents about 30% of the Primary 6 cohort in Singapore1.

Building on FPF’s broader commitment to improve access to nutrition for vulnerable groups across all life stages, Cheers Breakfast Club aims to help students get a healthy start to their day during a critical period in their school journey.

Jean Khong, General Manager, FairPrice Foundation said, “More than just a meal, we hope every child takes away this message that the PSLE is but one step in our lifelong learning journey. Believe in yourself, persevere, and know that your community is cheering you on.”

Pearlyn Woo, a mother of a Primary 6 student shared, “I read about Cheers Breakfast Club last year and felt it was such a thoughtful idea. Now that it’s my son’s turn to sit for the PSLE, having these breakfast items ready to grab in the morning makes our routine so much easier. Preparing for exams can be stressful, so every bit of encouragement counts!”
