Advancing Sustainability Through
Carbon Literacy
As founding partner of The Carbon Gallery, FairPrice Foundation is committing S$3 million to carbon literacy, education, and programmes until 2027, strengthening community engagement while advancing sustainability.
A portion of FairPrice Group’s Disposable Carrier Bag Charge proceeds also supports the gallery, demonstrating the Group’s ongoing efforts to make it easy on the planet.
The Carbon Gallery will impact 28,000 visitors each year.

The Microforest

A biodiverse landscape that combines kampung agroforestry traditions with the resilience of mangrove ecosystems. Inspired by Pasir Ris’ heritage, it restores nature, cools the site, and showcases carbon-lite living through fruit, edible, and medicinal plantings. This living classroom on regeneration and resilience serves as a prelude to The Carbon Gallery experience.
Respite Gardens (Supported by FairPrice Group)
A calm, kampung-inspired sanctuary that invites visitors to pause and reflect. It highlights well-being as part of sustainability while demonstrating simple, people-and-planet friendly plantings that nurture biodiversity and comfort.
