SINGAPORE, 15 October 2025 – FairPrice Group (FPG) and FairPrice Foundation (FPF) announced today the launch of the second edition of A Full Plate, Singapore’s largest food donation drive. Through A Full Plate, FPG aims to bridge the nutrition access gap for underprivileged communities across the island. The donation drive will run for two months from 15 October to 15 December 2025, leveraging FPG’s size and scale as the nation’s largest retailer to rally all in Singapore in support of their neighbours in need.
This year, FPF will contribute $1 million towards the drive. It will reach close to 700,000 beneficiaries of 21 community and charity partners, more than double the number of partners from the previous year’s iteration. A Full Plate was first launched in 2024, together with findings from a study1 conducted by FPG on Singaporeans’ food needs, challenges, and habits. It found that while health and nutrition are very important to Singaporeans, many still face challenges with accessing nutritious food and staples.
The study also uncovered that beneficiaries of food donation programmes had a strong desire to receive fresh protein, fruits, and vegetables, instead of just canned or dried goods.
The continuation of A Full Plate and expansion of the number of charity and community partners that will benefit from the drive reflect FPG’s and FPF’s wider commitment to keep nutritious essentials within reach for all in Singapore, especially the underprivileged. This year, A Full Plate will reach the beneficiaries of new community and charity partners including the Migrant Workers Centre, The Helping Hand, and Society for the Aged Sick.
Vipul Chawla, Group CEO, FairPrice Group shared that A Full Plate is much more than just a food donation drive for FPG; it is a platform through which all in Singapore can extend the dignity of choice to those in need by offering them healthy, nutritious staples.
“As the nation’s largest retailer, we know that many in Singapore, especially the underprivileged among us, want to provide their families and loved ones with a nutritious variety of food. That’s what A Full Plate is all about – rallying Singaporeans to help make every day a little better for vulnerable communities, by providing them with the nutritious essentials they need to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.”
Individuals can make donations of $10, $36, $60, and $100 that will go towards purchasing curated bundles of nutritious groceries for those in need. Alternatively, they can also donate in tiers of $2 or $3 that will go towards purchasing hot meals for beneficiaries. Donations can be made at all FairPrice supermarkets, FairPrice Xpress outlets, Cheers convenience stores, Unity pharmacies, Kopitiam food courts, FairPrice Online, and through the FPG App.
“With three children it can be stressful to manage the finances, so the groceries and vouchers I receive really help to alleviate some of the financial stress at home. I am grateful to have such a supportive community in Singapore, and thankful that people are so willing to share with one another through A Full Plate,” shared Madam Dayana, beneficiary of the Singapore Red Cross, one of FPF’s charity partners from the 2024 run of A Full Plate. Last year, the drive raised $1.6 million that went towards purchasing fresh groceries and hot meals for the beneficiaries of 10 of FPF’s charity partners.
This year’s drive is the latest in a series of initiatives launched by FPG and FPF in recent months to engage Singaporeans in the heartlands and support residents with building stronger, more resilient communities. These include:
- The expansion of the Neighbourhood Food Share initiative to 60 distribution points by the end of 2025, providing communities in need with fresh fruits and vegetables for free
- The Cheers Breakfast Club, providing more than 12,000 Primary 6 students with nutritious breakfast bundles to start their examinations strong
- The doubling of discounts for CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders with large families from September to December 2025
- The launch of The Carbon Gallery, Asia’s first carbon-focused educational and experiential gallery aimed at empowering heartland residents with the knowledge they need to make better choices for the planet
