SINGAPORE, 21 August 2025 – FairPrice Group (FPG), together with its convenience store banners Cheers and FairPrice Xpress, announced today the return of its popular Cheers Breakfast Club initiative for the second year running. Through the first-in-Singapore initiative, FPG will provide Primary 6 (P6) students with free nutritious breakfast bundles to support their physical and mental health as they prepare for their Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE).
Supported by FPG’s philanthropic arm, FairPrice Foundation (FPF), more than 12,000 free breakfast bundles will be distributed at 113 participating Cheers and FairPrice Xpress outlets islandwide on 3 September (from 2pm) and 4 September (during store opening hours). This year, more than 1,000 bundles will be set aside for student beneficiaries from charity partners such as SINDA, Yayasan Mendaki, and CDAC. This will ensure that the breakfast bundles reach groups who need it the most.
Each bundle is worth over $20 and includes wholesome breakfast staples such as fresh fruits, wholemeal bread, Brand’s Essence of Chicken, and student-favourites like Milo and Koko Krunch cereal. Each breakfast bundle will also include discount coupons for breakfast items like yogurt parfaits and sandwiches, and a coupon for a free ice cream treat1 to lift students’ spirits during the exam season.
How to Redeem
To redeem a breakfast bundle, students taking their PSLE this year simply need to visit one of the participating Cheers or FairPrice Xpress outlets2 and present their student card or PSLE examination slip for verification. Alternatively, parents of P6 students may also redeem breakfast bundles on behalf of their children by presenting their child’s student card or examination slip (in physical or e-copy) for verification. Each P6 student is entitled to one breakfast bundle, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
