FairPrice broadens options of affordable ART kits for consumers with new brand Flowflex

SINGAPORE, 10 December 2021 – NTUC FairPrice (FairPrice) is working closely with suppliers and the authorities to ensure a variety of Antigen Rapid Test (ART) kits are available to consumers. This includes seeking out new brands to complement the existing range available so as to provide more options.

The Flowflex ART kits will be available at all 70 Unity stores and over 90 FairPrice supermarkets, FairPrice Finest supermarkets, FairPrice Xtra hypermarkets, Warehouse Club and FairPrice online from today. The kits will also be stocked at selected Cheers and FairPrice Xpress convenience stores today including the outlets at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Sengkang Community Hospital and Outram Community Hospital. It will be sold at 40 selected Cheers and FairPrice Xpress convenience stores located at high traffic areas and Esso service stations later next week.

Available in pack sizes of 1s, 5s and 25s, the kit is priced at $4.90, $24 and $117.50 respectively. Stocks may vary at different stores.

The Flowflex ART kits, developed by United States-based diagnostic and medical devices firm Acon Laboratories, were authorised for use in Singapore by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) on 8 November 2021 under the Pandemic Special Access Route for critical new medical products during a pandemic.

FairPrice will continue to monitor consumer demand and bring in supplies and relevant products for Singaporeans.
