Your story should reflect the “A Little Better” contest theme. Show how the idea of improvement or making things “a little better” comes to life through your characters and plot.
Creativity [30%]
Get creative with your storytelling! You can experiment with different filming styles, unique perspectives, or innovative formats – as long as key elements such as a food storyline and the phrase ‘A Little Better’ are included in your film.
Whether through striking visuals, engaging dialogue, captivating music, or even silent storytelling, we’re excited to see the imaginative ways you bring your story to life!
Technical Execution [30%]
The technical aspects of your film should enhance the storytelling. Think: clear lighting, thoughtful framing, and seamless sound editing—every detail matters.

No, each individual is permitted to submit only one entry under their name.
Yes, films can be worked on in teams too! A key contact person must be appointed and indicated on the entry form.
It’s entirely up to you! You’ll need to appoint someone from your team to submit the entry. In the submission form, you can also choose to include a group name. Just remember that each film can only be submitted once and must be entered by someone 18 or older. If your talent is under 18, make sure to get guardian/parental approval before filming and submitting.
The distribution of the prize money should be determined privately among your team members. If you’re selected as a winner, the full amount will be given to you to divide as you see fit.
Each film can only be submitted in one category and under one name. If the same film is submitted twice, only the first application will be eligible for the contest.
Yes you can, as long as the film adheres to our contest criteria and it hasn’t won a prize in another competition.
Yes, you can submit a film entry even if they were submitted to another competition, as long as it adheres to our contest criteria. However, you cannot submit a film which previously won a prize in another competition, or any works similar to them.
No. Once you have selected to “submit” your film into a specific category, you will not be able to change it.
All submissions must be finished works in order to be approved and judged by our panel.
Yes, you can include anyone you consider part of your family, especially if they help make your every day a little better!
It’s up to you, but remember to obtain permission from any talents involved or parental/guardian approval for those under 18.
