FairPrice Group’s employee volunteering initiative

Day of Service is our employee volunteering initiative that empowers our people to uplift lives and strengthen communities.

Rooted in FairPrice Foundation’s three strategic pillars – ensuring food security for the poor and needy, strengthening community welfare and engagement, and supporting low-wage workers – our volunteers take meaningful action where it matters most.

These Day of Service initiatives include:

  • Distributing hot meals and fresh produce through initiatives like the Neighbourhood Food Share and A Full Plate donation drive
  • Engaging communities in meaningful conversations and activities to boost nutrition knowledge and distributing high-protein essentials like eggs through the Protein Pledge
  • Befriending seniors and children through festive outreach and community bonding activities that foster care, connection, and joy
