SINGAPORE, 19 February 2026 – FairPrice Group (FPG) announced today that it will provide 80,000 Buka Puasa refreshment sets across 60 FairPrice stores1 islandwide to support Muslim customers breaking fast during Ramadan. This initiative will run throughout the fasting month from 19 February to 20 March 2026, marking FPG’s 18th consecutive year of community support during Ramadan.

This year’s Buka Puasa refreshments distribution includes fresh apples sponsored by FairPrice Foundation (FPF). This effort aims to provide more nutritious options for Muslim customers when they break fast. FairPrice staff and FPG volunteers will distribute refreshments to Muslim customers 30 minutes before and after Buka Puasa. Muslim customers breaking their fast will be able to choose a snack; either an apple, dates or biscuits and a drink (Fuze Tea Lychee Rose Tea, Peach Mint Tea, Mango Green Tea, milk, isotonic beverage or water) to break fast, while supplies last.

Partnering the community to distribute Ramadan Care Packs and Breaking Fast with Beneficiaries

Over 19 and 20 February, FPF will distribute 500 Ramadan care packs to Yayasan Mendaki beneficiaries. The care packs include fresh apples, dates, fresh milk, cooking paste and other break fast essentials to support beneficiaries during Ramadan.

In collaboration with the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) under M3 Focus Area 4 (FA4), FPF will also be sponsoring a Buka Puasa event – the fast-breaking evening meal taken by Muslims during Ramadan – on 4 March with more than 100 beneficiaries from Yayasan Mendaki and union worker representatives. Each beneficiary will also receive a Ramadan care pack during the event.
