During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, donations to social service organisations dwindled, impairing their operations. To help alleviate the dire situation, FairPrice Foundation disbursed half a million dollar to five organisations who were most in need. They include Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home, Metta Welfare Association, Assisi Hospice, Touch Community Services and Food from the Heart. The funds aided these organisations continue their noble work in helping less fortunate individuals and families.
