9am–7pm
FairPrice Group's Share-A-Textbook initiative aims to make textbooks and educational resources accessible for all in Singapore by providing them for free, to help ease financial burdens for families amid rising expenses.
The initiative also helps to reduce waste, reuse and expand the lifespan of educational materials, and promote environmental sustainability.
Donate Your Textbooks
Drop textbooks and supplementary resources at designated FairPrice supermarkets and Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre from 13–26 November.
Volunteer and Make a Difference
All volunteering slots are full between 27 November – 4 December for sorting of donated books and distribution between 5–6 December.
Collect And Reuse the Textbooks
Collect the used textbooks and help to extend their lifespan and reduce waste.
We welcome MOE-approved textbooks, assessment books, and supplementary learning materials that are still in good condition.
Please do not donate outdated syllabuses, damaged or heavily scribbled books, or used exercise books. This ensures that collected resources remain useful and relevant.
To help ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, please obtain a queue number on-site. Once the maximum capacity for the hour is reached, you will be invited to collect books during the next available time slot.
To ensure fairness and allow more families to benefit, each person is encouraged to collect only what they need.
Uncollected textbooks will be sent to recycling centres. This ensures that they don't end up in landfills and the materials are reused in an environmentally sustainable way.
Please donate your used textbooks at the designated dropboxes by 26 November.
Collection of used textbooks and supplementary materials will be on a walk-in basis.
Please come during the collection hours and take a queue number on the day.
Thank you for supporting the FairPrice Group’s Share-A-Textbook initiative and helping to reduce waste, reuse and expand the lifespan of our educational materials, and promote environmental sustainability among our students!
